Aeration is the process of mechanically removing small plugs of thatch and soil from the lawn to improve soil aeration. Water and applied fertilizer then has a greater chance of reaching the roots. It reduces soil compaction and thatch build-up and improves root development and growth.
The overseeding helps fill and replenish bare spots in your lawn as well as promote greater turf density. Overseeding an existing lawn is a great way to fill in any thin spots that may develop over winter or during an especially hot summer.
